My name is Reto Woodtli, Founder and President of FRITZMAR
 
I am a mechanical engineer from Lucerne Switzerland and have spent the last 15 years in various sales and management positions here in the USA.

  • CEO of Optrel USA
Optrel is a Swiss manufacturer of automatic welding helmets. 

Their products are positioned in the high end segment and cover all industries that weld, from shipyards to garages. 
Welding helmets are a personal safety product. Due to the low cost competition and the positioning in the high end segment, sales focused emphasized quality and superior features.  
Their sales channels include Rep's, Industrial Distributors, Retail Distributors and OEM's
  • General Manager at Zund America
Zund is a Swiss manufacturer of digital cutting machines. ​
Zund cutters are positioned as high end capital equipment.
They are mainly used in the printing industry, but also for packaging, leather, apparel, industrial textiles and many other applications.
These machines require a technical sales process, they have to be configured according to the customers application and anticipated future needs. It also included process consulting in order to maximize the ROI of te equipment. 
 
Their sale channels include Trade Shows, Rep's and direct sales.
  • General Manager and Application Engineer Bucher Hydraulics USA
Bucher Hydraulic is a German manufacturer of oil hydraulic components.
 
Their main customers are OEM's of construction and agricultural equipment. 
These products demand a highly technical sales approach. We had to analyse customers hydraulic schematic, sometimes even convince them to change designs to achieve the most cost and energy effective solutions
  • Global Account Manager at White Drive Products
White Drive Products, now part of Danfoss, is a US manufacturer of low speed high torque hydraulic gear motors (LSHT). 
LSHT are high quantity low cost products.
The responsibilities focused on direct B2B business to global OEM's of farm equipment such as John Deere and CNH.
